Mapei UltraCare 5-Sides Sealer is an affordable natural look water-based, penetrating sealer that will provide protection from water and stain absorption for most natural stones (marble, limestone, sandstone, slate, granite, travertine, etc.) prior to fixing with cement-based adhesive (class C in compliance with ISO 13007) or thick bed mortar. It allows moisture vapour transmission and does not adversely affect the bonding of stone to the substrate.
Technical Characteristics:
· Mapei UltraCare 5-Sides Sealer has to be applied on the 4 sides and on the back of the natural stone tiles.
· Water-based penetrating sealer.
· Protection against moisture and water and most stains.
· Easy to use.
· Does not affect the bonding of stone.
