The Slanted and rounded notch provides the following advantages:
- For maximum coverage, the ridges overlap and collapse to provide superior adhesive coverage and avoid air pockets under the tile/slab.
- No Air pocket under the tile/slab means avoiding water infiltration in case of outdoor floors or swimming. Also in the case of a thin tile 3-7mm thick it avoids any breakages caused by concentrated loads.
- The absence of air under the tile improves the transmission of heat in case of underfloor heating.
- The rounded shape of the notch reduces the chance of adhesive binding and rippling away the ridges while troweling.
